The Researchers Explain The Simple Test That Reveals If You Have Candida Infection
Candida infection is a type of yeast infection that can be caused by various factors. Most species can be treated easily, but when left untreated, they can increase in severity and have significant health effects.
Because of their nature, the symptoms of this problem tend to spread throughout the body, making it difficult to determine the root cause. This also often leads to the possibility of condoning excessive growth of Candida as a possible cause.
Fortunately, there is an easy way to determine if candida overgrowth is something you should worry about. Better yet, this method does not require expensive doctor appointments or invasive tests.
Believe it or not, there is a very easy and completely free test you can do at home to determine whether you are suffering from yeast overgrowth or not. Here’s how researchers explain the simple test that reveals if you have candida infection.
A simple test detects if you have Candida, according to researchers
1. What is Candida?
Candida is a fungus – yeast, being specific – living in the body. Like many kinds of fungus, it is completely safe and harmless in the body in small quantities. Usually live in the stomach and on the skin and around the mouth.
However, as with all fungi, there is a chance to change the body’s environment and allow it to multiply. In such cases, candidiasis can grow dramatically and become out of control. At this stage, this infection becomes Candida that is medically known as Candida.
What happens when you have Candida infection?
• In essence, fungi have the ability to alter their properties and shape in order to thrive even in harsh environments.
• It can move between an elongated shape as a conductive cell or a round shape as a yeast cell in response to body acidity or temperature.
• This means that it can easily permeate different organs in the body and survive under bad conditions.
Candida often infiltrates the intestines, causing problems such as the leaky intestine, which then causes a whole host of bad microorganisms in the bloodstream. This can include bacteria, viruses and all kinds of toxins and food residues.
The immune system will then respond by causing inflammation to kill these bad things – but the infection does not stop, leading to weakened immunity and fatigue. Soon, the function of the immune system becomes less precise, making the innocent and positive parts of the body become their targets.
In severe cases, when left untreated, candidiasis infection can develop into an autoimmune disease. This is why it is extremely important to note this type of excess growth and treat it. Unfortunately, due to the fact that fungus can reach anywhere in the body, the symptoms can be very wide and difficult to identify. That’s why easy tests are needed.
2. What is the test?
The test is a spit test capable of detecting yeast in saliva. This is because saliva is a very fertile area for yeast. Yes, it may seem a bit gross to do a spit test, but you’ll practice some positive thinking! After all this, this may make a big difference in your perception of infection. The following are steps to perform the test correctly.
• 1: Do this first thing in the morning, before brushing your teeth or doing anything else.
• 2: Get a clear glass and fill with filtered water which is at room temperature.
• 3: Work by collecting as much saliva as possible in your mouth.
• 4: Spit in the glass. Wait between minutes and three minutes, or even 15 minutes, then look inside the glass and see what you find.
So, I’ve finished the test – now, what are you looking for?
The saliva will float at first, you may see thin objects resembling hair or tendons in the water, and stretch down from the saliva. This is a sign of Candidiasis infection. Another potential sign of yeast growth that you will see in your glass is a cloudy area or patches in a floating, hanging cloud, in the center of the glass.
In addition, simple saliva will float easily to the top of the water. If your saliva starts drowning in a few minutes, it is because the yeast particles inside make it more intense. This is also a sign of excess growth. You can leave your glass for up to an hour, and if the saliva is still floating at the end of that time, it is likely that you do not suffer from Candida.

If it takes several minutes before any of these symptoms appear, you may experience hyperthyroidism, but it is not very severe. Just take steps to fight it!
Unfortunately, although this test works a lot of time, it is not 100% guaranteed. If you have severe symptoms but this spitting test does not show your candida infection, talk to your doctor or choose another test!
